As I said in my post, after installing Trend Micro I get the pop=up telling me to install the toolbar. I run the installer and it is adding the extension in my list of extensions under Firefox, but it does not show on Firefox. Furthermore, if I give it authorization to work on a private page, it disappears completely from the list ??

Yeah idk why they added that menu to the toolbar since it doesn't even function the same as chrome allowing you to access the extensions which this doesn't it is only there to manage extensions, so its pointless.
Keyboard accessibility has improved in the latest version of Firefox. Toolbar and toolbar overflow menu are both fully keyboard accessible: keyboard users can now access add-ons, the downloads panel, the overflow, Page actions and Firefox menus, and much more.
RoboForm will install as a toolbar, located at the top of the browser. That toolbar will give you easy, one-click access to your Logins, Bookmarks, Safenotes and more, and also allow you to effortlessly fill those long forms with a single click.
Portable Firefox can be used from any portable drive without installing it on a computer. * RoboForm2Go now integrates with Portable Firefox * RoboForm2Go attaches the toolbar to the bottom of the browser window
You can use the Toolbar Palette to customize the size of the RoboForm toolbar. Right-click the Firefox File menu bar and select Customize. Scroll down the list to find the RoboForm toolbar. Drag this RoboForm toolbar item to any Firefox toolbar. Click Done and RoboForm toolbar will occupy the designated space. Close the native RoboForm toolbar as you will not need it anymore.
The Mozilla Firefox Web browser comes with a Bookmarks toolbar, also known as a Favorites toolbar. You can place your favorite websites or sites you visit often on this Favorites toolbar. When you want to access any of these websites, all you have to do is click their name on the toolbar. If you don't use the Favorites toolbar or temporarily want more space in the browser window, you can disable the Mozilla Firefox Favorites toolbar using the View menu.
When you browse, research, or look for something on the internet, you can enhance your experience by customizing your web browser. As a Mozilla Firefox user, you can apply a theme, modify the toolbar, adjust the fonts, colors, sizes, and much more.
The toolbar at the top of Firefox offers buttons on each side of the address bar. With it, you can quickly access the Home page, open a new window, view your history, and more. You can customize the toolbar to display those actions you perform most.
From themes and homepage to toolbar and fonts, Firefox offers different ways for you to customize your browsing experience. You use your browser for pretty much everything you do online, so why not make it look good while you use it.
To start building a personalized Firefox theme, install the Firefox Color add-on. After installation, a new tab opens where you can design your theme. Firefox lets you choose the colors for the toolbar, search bar, and popup text.
Firefox gives you the option to customize your toolbar, so you can access frequently-used features easily. To customize your toolbar, click on the menu icon and go to More tools > Customize toolbar.
The overflow menu only appears when you click on the >> icon. This way, you can access the toolbar items easily without cluttering your browser. You can customize the overflow menu from the Menu icon > More tools > Customize toolbar.
One of the best things about Firefox is that you can customize how your browsing experience looks. With themes, you can alter the appearance and feel of your browser. Similarly, you can browse quicker by adding your frequently used tools to the toolbar and overflow menu.
The most common way of losing bookmarks within Firefox is when the bookmarks toolbar is gone. Usually this means the bookmarks toolbar was accidentally turned off. To turn it back on, click Views > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar > Always show.
Mozilla Firefox provides an easy to access toolbar at the top of the browser window that contains a variety of icons for popular and commonly used features. As you add new Firefox extensions, though, the toolbar can become filled with unwanted icons. This guide will explain how to remove a button from the Firefox toolbar.
Once you click on the Remove from Toolbar button option, the icon will be removed from the toolbar. In the future, if you wish to have that button on the Toolbar again, you can simply add it to the Firefox toolbar again.
Mozilla Firefox has a user interface that is extremely customizable. This means that you can add or remove buttons from the toolbar in order to customize your individual experience. To add a new button to the Firefox toolbar, right click on any of the toolbar icons and a menu should appear as shown below.
In addition to customizing the buttons on the Firefox toolbar, you can also customize what buttons are displayed in the Firefox menu. This provides easy access to Firefox extensions or other desired features.
In Firefox 106, developers have added two new buttons to the toolbar of the browser. One of them, Firefox View, opens a built-in page with the list of recently opened tabs, tabs from your other devices, and also allows switching the theme. Another one is List all tabs that appears at the end of the tab row and opens a menu with open tabs similar to what you could see in Chrome. If you aren't happy to see any of them (or both), here is how to get rid of them.
The new toolbar buttons are intended to increase your productivity. With the Firefox View you can quickly reopen a closed tab, or access tabs from any device with Firefox installed, even from your smartphone. The latter obviously requires you to use a Mozilla Account. Additionally, the Firefox View for some reason exposes the Colorways themes which you can change here.
The second addition to the toolbar is the List all tabs button. When you click it, a menu opens that contains all open tabs with full titles visible. Users who open a lot of tabs may find it useful. However, if you never open tons of tabs, it maybe a redundant control in the browser's UI. Unlike Google Chrome, which always shows a similar button all the time, you can make Firefox hide it.
Regardless of the method you used to hide Firefox View, it is easy to restore it at any moment. Click anywhere on the toolbar, select "Customize the toolbar...", and move the button back to its place, or to any other location of your choice.
I have given custom toolbar button (which i have created in overlay.xul) a color in start of javascript then i change its color in script but the problem is that when i opens a new tab the toolbar button color does not resume to its first color or in other words all script work but the color changing line of code does not work which i give in start but it remains myblueclass color.
My Firefox bookmark toolbar items change icons every now and then for apparently no reason, especially if a site is down. I get the DNS site's icons all over, on another case I have the Facebook icon on a TOTALLY irrelevant bookmark, so the question is: How can I change the icons on my bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar?
Right click at your bookmark (Bookmark menu, Bookmark toolbar, Bookmark sidebar, Bookmark manager); the popup menu with option "Change Favicon", "Reset Favicon", "Remove Favicon" and "Export Favicon" will appear.
To get Bookmark Favicon Changer to work in Firefox 40 go to this link But seeing as how it is off site (off the firefox official list of add-ons) I felt to afraid to install it before realising the I already had it installed. Alas it no longer works in firefox 50.
However, this below -US/firefox/addon/bookmarks-favicon-images/?src=searchis on the Firefox official list of add ons, and, while a little less convenient perhaps than the former, it works on firefox 50.
Remember how you could right-click on a download on the Library dialog box and access actions you could perform on the download? You can do the same thing on the popup menu accessed from the Downloads button, making it quicker and more efficient to use the Downloads button on the toolbar.
I run Firefox version 75.0 and none of the above worked at all because there was no download icon in the customizetoolbar menu, and restore defaults did not bring it back either. But when I went to the Help menu selected restart with add-ons disabled the download icon reappeared like magic.
HeadlineAlley is a browser extension developed by Mindspark Interactive Network. Consisting mainly of a toolbar with bookmarks to HeadlineAlley, news and weather feeds, this browser extension offers limited functionality and little overall value.
Your homepage after HeadlineAlley installationHeadlineAlley Toolbar is typically bundled via other free downloads or third party applications. Although HeadlineAlley is not considered malicious, its behavior is a bit invasive as it discreetly performs system related modifications without your knowledge. Once installed, a toolbar is added to your browser changing your homepage to Ask.com and your browser search engine to Ask Web Search.
All options confirming your request to change your default homepage and install the toolbar are automatically pre-checked during the setup. If you have overlooked these options you may have inadvertently installed a potentially unwanted program (PUP).
